There’s a version of this story where I tell you about the prints, the paper, the process. I’ll get to that another time. The real story starts somewhere else.

I’ve been making things my whole life. Paintings, drawings, skateboards, surfboards, boats, houses…. Today, being a visual artist, I share stories that live somewhere between image and myth. For most of the years I’ve been crafting pictures, the work sat in studios, in portfolios,in flatfile drawers, shown at shows and galleries, and stacked in storage spaces in the particular silence that surrounds art that nobody has seen (which is the story of most art). That silence isn’t failure. But it isn’t what the work is for either.

What my work is for is your walls and shelves, countertops and desktops. With the various sizes available, they serve both the discrete and obvious, the public and the intimate places in your home. Places you might look once a day, or places you can see what you what you enjoy more frequently. Art is what holds and reflects those things that mean something to you without you having to explain why.

That’s it. I want to know my work is out there in the world, in your home-, bringing value and meaning to your life , or to those you wish to gift it to. My work is just art that simply is just lived with, like a good friend.

The BwahT Print Shop is where that starts.

BwahT — Buried with all his Teeth — is the world I work in. Lowbrow roots, psychedelic surrealism, underground comix. I comes with the visual language of people who make things at the edges without any concern for whats fashionable. These images carry weight because they’re designed to. They’re made to do something, to have effect to the room they’re hanging in and the people who see it.

The Bwaht Poster print series is the entry into my most particular and peculiar world. It’s affordable and real, and made to be enjoyed rather than ignored. Most of the images in my poster series won’t be found in any other format. This work is now available to, bring something different, something organic, to your life.
