This is another one of my “snapshots” out of time. I was just shoveling around one of my deep storage portfolios and came across this image from some years ago. Even though well protected, it had degraded terribly due to poor choices in materials. Plus, I had never preserved (varnished) it. Somehow, some basic neglect had brought it to a point halfway between life and death.

I had two choices, bring the original back to life with those same incompatible materials (thus assuring another failure), or scan it out and restore it with my lack of skills in my high-tech photo-processing software. I chose the second, and think it turned out pretty crazy good!
